Anyone who can answer on Composite Materials.?

Well, if you are working or worked on Impact behavior of Fiber reinforced Polymer Composite material, then only you can help me.
I am working on evaluating the effect of Stacking sequence/Layup on Impact behavior of Plain weave GFRP with 2 layups 0 & 0/90. I found after impact testing that material with 0 has less delamination area than the 0/90.
In general many research work had concluded the same BUT for the case of Non-Woven Composite material based on Bending stiffness Mismatch hypothesis.
I would be glad, if you could hint me the reason behind my finidings.
