Are there any hydroelectric dams in England?

Note - I do not mean Scotland or Wales, just, specifically, England.

I think there is one in Birmingham!
I hope so, to me it makes sense to build them anywhere with water! I mean why not? Even if you only powering a small area, its still something!
Yes there are, though not on the grand scale of things like the larger schemes in Wales and Scotland where 2 lakes are connected, or the ones around Fort William

Many modern dams have a hydroelectric station in them, for example Englands largest dam, Kielder, has Englands largest hydroelectric station in it.
