Balloons!! like the ones you see at parties :) how is it made?? where does it come from?? properties??

Answer:
If you are talking about the metallic looking ones they are made from a Mylar film which is a plastic. The colors you see are imprinted on the Mylar. All balloon makers carry them and their advantages over latex balloons are that they are more durable and less porous. The disadvantage is that they are more expensive and the material does not stretch so you cannot vary the size with inflation. ( As an aside this is the same material used in window tinting films. )
