Yellow corn?

yellow corn is used to make ethanol can white corn be used also ? I heard a discussion and it was said that white corn cannot be used for ethanol production...did not give reason ??

Answer:
It can. Actually many plants can be used to make ethanol. A better source for ethanol would be the wood waste from saw mills.

This thing about using corn to produce ethanol may seem good, but actually it is not the best answer. First off, there is not enough corn production to make ethanol and to feed the world. Second there are many more cheaper and more easily obtained sources of the raw material. If you'll check in to the subject further you'll find good alternatives. Lets stick to growing corn for consumption, not fuel.
