How does photosynthesis affect my ecosystem?

Answer:
Provides oxygen, less carbon dioxide, and allows organisms to thrive in the water.
it offgasses oxygen after eating CO2
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants make their own food from sunlight. If this process did not occure, then you wound not have any living plants in your ecosystem. Plants would die and any animal that eats plants in your ecosystem would die. Not a very nice ecosystem. Cover a patch of grass up for about 5 days ad you will se the effect of a plant not being able to process sunlight into food.
