Main environment damage ocurring in temperarte forest?

only main damage

Answer:
The greatest environmental damage occuring in temperate forests is deforestation and loss of habitat through conversion of natural forests to other land uses, including farmland, tree plantations, housing developments, and strip mines. This reduces the diversity of plants and animals, increases runoff, reduces groundwater recharge, and greatly alters nutrient and energy flow (for instance it can increase nitrogen and sediments and increase temperatures in downstream water bodies).
That would be burning by morons looking to create more farmland at the expense of huge diversity.
